Whilst Fire Rated Fire Exits operate in much the same way as a non-rated fire exit, as well as allowing quick and easy escape, they’ll also stop the flow of fire through your property.

Steel fire rated fire exits provide an extra layer of security for your key method of escape from your building, whilst also protecting your occupiers from the spread of a fire.

Our certification covers up to 240 minutes of structural integrity in independent tests.

    To improve the longevity of your doors, Fire Exits Manchester‘s Fire Rated Fire Exits are supplied in a high-quality finish powder coating (PPC) at no extra cost.

    A full range of RAL and BS colours are available, including metallics and pearlescent as an optional extra.

    Fire Exits Manchester is a C5 marine grade specialist, providing unmatched corrosion protection in steel doors supplied to highly corrosive and/or saline environments.

    Please note this treatment is particularly recommended for doors which will be situated less than 50m from the coastline.
